Hi,
My I797 and I94 expired on Sept 30 2009. I have applied for an H1B extension on Sept 26 2009 using premiuim processing.
H1B extension got denied on Oct 29, 2009 after we responded to an RFE on Oct 19.
RFE required me to provide Tax returns, company wage report and employment agreement.
Can any one suggest what are my available options.
How long I can stay in US?
My lawyer is still waiting for the denial letter for more details.

There is no grace period for stay. But any thing less then 180 of overstay is excused based upon your difficulties. But if you cross 180 days then you cannot enter US for three year. (Search for three year ban)

My Son is in India and will be traveling back to US on 1st September 2009 and His passport validity expires on 28th February 2010. Is it necessary for us to renew his passport while he is in India it self for him to enter into US?
Also our H1B validity expires by 14th January 2010.

Hello sdouglas,
That is a problem with Swift and not with your PC configuration. I'm not sure why it would freeze or lockup when importing files. My best advice would be for you to uninstall Swift 3D and re-install it again. The problem should usually be solved. If the problem appears, it could be an error external to that of Swift.
Try re-installing your graphics card drivers if re-installing Swift does not solve the problem. If all else fails, try asking Electric Rain for help. It could be a bug =)

Hello all,
Anyone who has knowledge in the following can reply back to me.
Mother 10 years Multiple visa will expire in May 5th of this year, questions:
1. What is the last date she can travel with this Visa?
2. She overstayed her trip in 1998 by 2 yrs and came back 3 times after that trip without any issues at POE and did not O/S her time in 2006 twice and in 2007 , what complication would she have at the Trinidad (Caribbean) Embassy for renewal visa ?
3. Would they ask about the first trip and why she O/S ? not sure since she made 3 trips after and had NO issue at POE.
4. Should I go with her for the visa renewal, since I could explain better if this questions comes up ? I have her regular Dr. letter and medical record showing that she was I'll and was seeing him, but not from the hospital.
The reason she O/S in 1998 is due to emergency surgery 15 days before her return date so she was ill and couldn't go back until she feel well which she did and went back on in 2001.
Your help is appreciated

Nope, 140 was approved in 2006. 485 applied July 19th, 2007. Looks like a mistake on USCIS part.
Did you filed 140 & 485 concurrently?? this is also one of the uscis check that you shouldn't filed be concurrently...

your second one is much better.... a bit of advice on the first one: get that yellow thing out of there!!! You first one, is a bit unorganized, and well not really too interesting, no effects that grab your eyes. The second one, while very simplistic too at least has a much more pleasing layout. My wife had concived for 3 days in June. During immigration medical exams Doctor gave her MMR shots and stated don't get pregnant for another 3 months.
After 15 days, We came to know that she is pregnant.

I have worked for my current company for 6 years. Currently in the 7th year of H-1B with 1 year extension until March 08.
I want to change jobs due to dissatisfaction with current work, and also due to possible future restructuring within company.
How can I change companies without having to go back or live overseas for 1 year and start the process all over again?

The answer is Yes you can switch to new employer. Your H-1 does not matter anymore as you have applied for AOS and you have a valid EAD which you can use for AC21 portability for a new employer after 180 days.

How do you know that your case has been transferred from NSC to TSC.
Receipt has address of issuing office at the bottom of it. I also had nothing showing up in the system until yesterday, but today, our EAD's are in the system, but not I-485 or I-131. Perhaps EAD is considered a priority.

If you create a new 'plane' and position it below the object as a floor, you will get a shadow. You can move the light sources about to get the right shadow.
